Manhunt

I Manhunt sono ormai una realtà afermata all’interno del panorama Metal piemontese e non solo, formati nel 2005 e assestati in formazione a 5 dal 2007 composta da: Massimo Ventura (chitarra), Matteo Candeliere (chitarra), Alessandro Massa (basso e voce secondaria), Lorenzo Somma (batteria) e Davide Quinto (voce principale).

Nel 2012 Alessandro Gagliardi subentra al posto di Matteo Candeliere, chitarrista/compositore e co-fondatore, insieme a Massimo Ventura, dei Manhunt.
Nel 2016, dopo 9 anni, il cantante Davide lascia il gruppo e la band continua il suo percorso con una formazione a 4.

In occasione dei 10 anni della formazione “definitiva”, la band si esibirà in un live speciale, pieno di sorprese e guest, insieme e per l’ultima volta con l’ex-cantante Davide, ripercorrendo la storia della gruppo dalla sua nascita fino ad oggi.

I Manhunt vengono fondati nel 2005 a Torino da Massimo Ventura e Matteo Candeliere, entrambi chitarristi e amici da molti anni, a Torino nel 2005.
Al termine del 2006 viene raggiunta, dopo varie ricerche, una prima formazione stabile: Gabriele Orlando alla batteria e, pochi mesi dopo, Alessandro Massa al basso e alla voce.
Nell’ottobre 2007 i Manhunt cambiano batterista: Lorenzo ”Lube” Somma entra ufficialmente nella band, seguito dal cantante Davide Quinto.
In aprile 2008 viene registrato il primo EP Fake, distribuito da High Voltage Records: il lavoro viene accolto positivamente dalla critica e dal pubblico, permettendo al gruppo di intraprendere un’intensa attività live nel nord Italia.
Nel 2009 partecipano al festival torinese per gruppi emergenti PagellaNonSoloRock (dal quale sono state lanciate band come Linea 77), posizionandosi terzi su oltre 70 band selezionate.
Nel 2010 viene registrato negli One Voice Studio di Danny Giordana (già tecnico audio nei tour di Hatebreed, Monster Magnet e Sick of It All) il secondo EP, Experimental Human Cruelty.
Negli anni successivi continuano i concerti in Italia e in Europa.
Durante l’estate 2012 il chitarrista e co-fondatore Matteo Candeliere decide di lasciare la band a causa di divergenze musicali: al suo posto entra nella formazione Alessandro Gagliardi.
Alla fine del 2013 iniziano le registrazioni del primo album, Manhunt, presso la Crime Records, che verrà pubblicato il 14 marzo 2014.
Nei due anni successivi continua l’attività live della band sul territorio europeo, e a fine 2016 viene pubblicato il loro nuovo EP – nuovamente per High Voltage Records – The Conquerors: Anthem.
Per motivi personali il cantante Davide Quinto lascia la band dopo l’incisione dell’ultimo lavoro, sostituito alla voce dal bassista Alessandro Massa e, come voce secondaria, dal chitarrista Massimo Ventura.

Manhunt is a thrash metal band from Turin, Italy, founded in 2005 by two guitarists Matteo Candeliere and Massimo Ventura.
It was the end of 2006 when Gabriele Orlando (drums) and Alessandro Gagliardi (bass and vocals) joined the band. An year later Manhunt changed their drummer – Gabriele was replaced by Lorenzo “Lube” Somma, then Manhunt decided to enlist also a singer: Davide Quinto.
In April 2008 Manhunt released their first EP, Fake, under High Voltage Records.
After a lot of gigs around Italy and positive feedbacks, in 2010 Manhunt recorded their second EP, Experimental Human Cruelty, at Danny Giordana’s OneVoiceStudio (live technician of Hatebreed, Monster Magnet, Sick of It All).
In the following years concerts continue, around Italy and Europe.
During summer 2012 guitarist and co-founder Matteo Candeliere decides to leave the band because of musical disagreements. So Manhunt engage as replacement Alessandro Gagliardi.
At the end of 2013 begins the recording of the first album, Manhunt at Crime Records: the full lenght will be released on 14th March 2014.
The band continues live activities in the following two years.
At the end of 2016 their new EP The Conquerors: Anthem is published, again under High Voltage Records.
The singer Davide Quinto leaves the band for personal reason after recording session, being substituted by bassist Alessandro Massa (leading voice) and guitarist Massimo Ventura (secondary voice).
