Infection Code was born in 1999. In 2000 the five piece release the acclaimed EP “H.I.V.
999” with four songs revealing the band's cutting edge personality. After several live shows
Infection Code focused on their debut album "Life Continuity Point" released in 2001. On
the album they carried on their courageous project becoming one of the fore-fronting
bands in the Italian scene.
Shortly after finishing the full-length, two members departed ways leaving Infection Code
to persist forward.
Finding the additional element as a replacement former leader of post thrashers Arcadia,
Demetrio Scopelliti enters the group. In 2003 Infection Code are chosen to play a French
tribute to Godflesh's song Nails shortly thereafter the recording of the song Demetrios
departed ways in his replacement the band recruited guitarist Davide who brought fresh
ideas to the mix.
From the underground post-core sound, noted from the very early days of the band, is
mixed with electronic innovations and explodes now with a larger-than-life roar. This is
“Sterile” the new album out in 2004.
Presently the band is in the process of writing new material for their new album entitled
“Intimacy”. An album that opens a new sonic chapter where experimental noise meets the
sickness and the feelings of human beings. Recording sessions start in January 2007 and
the release date is scheduled for a fall 2007 unleashing.
“Intimacy” will be produced by BILLY ANDERSON famous engineer of such masterpieces
as NEUROSIS-Through Silver In Blood and MELVINS-Houdini at Lowered Studios in San
Francisco, California. Meantime the band signs a worldwide deal with Beyond Productions
with a distribution on Masterpiece Distribution. Infection Code signs a deal with US label
KNVBI Records for a limited-edition vinyl out in October 2007.
After many shows in Italy and around the Europe the band write the new album. A full
immersion in psychedelic and noise scene. From here was born “Fine” fifth album of the
band. Recorded at the Green Fog Studios and produced by Eraldo Bernocchi.
In 2012 afetr nine years Davide left the band and the place as took by Paolo a talent and
creative guitar man. Meantime, the band signs a deal with Subsound records for a split
album with the Deflore. A limited edition 12” vinyl. The three songs about this split are
recorded at the Green Fog Studios and it be produced by Eraldo Bernocchi.
Actually, the band is writing new stuff for the upcoming new album. Recording sessions
will start in January 2014 at the Greenfog Studio in Genoa. For the first time in their career,

Infection Code use Italian lyrics for a concept album. The album will be titled ‘La dittatura
del rumore’.
‘La dittatura del rumore’ have received many good reviews and feedbacks from most
important European metal magazines and webzines.
In 2015 to celebrate the fifteen years old, the band with the cooperate with Argonauta
Records print an EP with new four songs and a video documentary titled ’00-15:
l’avanguardia industriale’.
The band continue the live activity with many gigs around Italy and some gigs in Europe.
In Autumn 2016 Infection Code decide to dedicate one year to rehearse and create the
sixth album. Eight songs that testify to the Infection Code sound near industrial metal and
some thrash metal influences. The album titled ‘Dissenso’ was recorded at Archensel
Studios in Asti and it will be out in February 2018 for Argonauta Records. After some gigs
to support “Dissenso” the line-up is changed.
Rust on guitars and Davide on bass replace Enrico and Paolo. Ricky will take care of
electronics and noise manipulations. During six months the band write eight songs for a
new album. The recording sessions start in April 2019 at The Cat’s cage Recording Studio
by Francesco Salvadeo. After three weeks the album, titled “In.R.I.” is finished. After the
recording sessions, Rust leaves the band, and he is replaced by Max.
"In.R.I" gets some good responses and good reviews from Italian and foreign specialized
press. Unfortunately, the band plays a few gigs as a result of the pandemic situation that
follows a lockdown. During this period the band chooses, with many difficulties but great
inner strength, to write and play new songs. The new album titled "Alea Iacta Est" is born
in this background. The recording sessions started in August 2021 at The Cat's Cage
Recording Studios by Francesco Salvadeo. The album will be released by Argonauta
Records in late spring of 2022. After the recording sessions, Max left the band due to
personal reasons and Chris joined the band.
With this line up we wrote some killer songs with a thrash metal attitude and in January
2023 we started the recording sessions at The Cat's Cage Recording Studios for a new
album. Eight songs where the industrial influences are supported by strength and violence
typical of thrash metal movement. The album, titled Sulphur is composed of eight songs
and the lyrical concept based on some underground science fiction novels.
After the recording sessions, Davide left the band and Andrea joined the band. In the
meantime, we have signed a new deal with the Time to Kill Records.

Gli SKW si formano a Milano nel lontano 1989, con il monicker Skywalker.
La formazione attuale, stabile dall 1996, comprende: Marco Laratro(Voce), Simone Anaclerio (Chitarre),
Mirko Voltan(Basso) e Giancarlo Piras(Batteria).
Il primo demo-tape targato Skywalker viene realizzato nel 1992. Nel 1992 la band inizia a suonare dal vivo e
nello stesso anno esce il secondo demo-tape. Il demo riceve buone recensioni dalla stampa italiana, dalle
radio, dai magazine e dalle fanzine di tutta Italia. Nel 1995 la band suona in locali e situazioni importanti
registrando il terzo demo-tape.Ricevuto un ottimo consenso ed una grande pubblicità da parte dei giornali
specializzati e radio, nel 1997 gli Skywalker vengono contattati dal più importante giornale metal italiano,
Metal Hammer, per partecipare al grande concerto di tributo ai Metallica al Factory (Milano). In questa
occasione gli Skywalker aprono per band italiane rock/metal molto importanti. Alcuni mesi dopo,
nell’estate del 1997, gli Skywalker partecipano ad eventi di rilievo.
Dopo aver partecipato a varie compilation italiane e estere, nel 1998 gli Skywalker cambiano il loro
monicker in SKW e registrano “Techno-Logical”, la loro definitiva consacrazione internazionale, un album
molto potente, grazie al quale ottengono un contratto con la Adrenaline records ed una distribuzione
mondiale. Durante il 1999 la band suona a Milano come supporto per i Soulfly di Max Cavalera e per gli

Amorphis. La band suona anche insieme a Jason Newsted dei Metallica durante una serata tributo ai 4
horsemen dove gli SKW intrattengono la folla al metallica-day organizzato per l’uscita del nuovo album dei
Metallica “S&M”. Nel dicembre 2000 esce il nuovo album della band “Connection” che vede la presenza di
12 pezzi originali sempre piu’ aggressivi ma di piu’ ampio respiro rispetto all’album di esordio. Nel 2002 gli
SKW suonano come supporto ai The Haunted e dopo un interminabile tour gli SKW entrano in studio nel
2004 per registrare il terzo album “Alter ego”, maturo e potente, fresco e aggressivo, ricco di spunti nuovi,
devoto all’evoluzione tecnica e musicale della band. Terminate le registrazioni gli SKW firmano un contratto
con la label italiana Vacationhouse records e con lafrancese deadsun records per un deal che prevede la
distribuzione del prodotto in tutto il mondo. Il terzo album “Alter ego” esce a Gennaio 005. A Marzo 2005
esce il video della song “Alter ego” girato dalla giovane e talentuosa regista Laura Stabilini. L’”Alter Ego
tour” dura circa 3 anni dove la band suona un po’ ovunque.
Nel 2007 la band si accorda con Alkemist-Fanatix per il management e comincia le registrazioni del suo
album migliore grazie anche all’incontro del produttore Frank Andiver. Il mastering del disco viene
effettuato ai rinomati studios statunitensi d el new jersey WWSM dal produttore Kim Rosen. Il disco esce
nel Febbraio 2009 su etichetta RISINGWORKS e distribuzione mondiale SELF/CODE7/PLASTICHEAD, ed e’ la
forte espressione della maturita’ musicale ormai acquisita dalla band, un incrocio tra il metal moderno
americano e l’energia tipica della band, una evoluzione sonora che accoglie aggressivita’ e melodia sempre
di forti atmosfere.
Un nuovo video viene girato a Los Angeles , California, USA del singolo “1minute2lie”. La regista e’ ancora
Laura Stabilini, il produttore e’ Gianfilippo Pedrotti (gia’ producer di video di Vasco e Jovanotti), il direttore
della fotografia Michael Pescasio (Simple Plan,Soulfly,Papa Roach). Nel 2013 esce un secondo singolo e
video (“Numbers”) girato da Ilaria Dalla Casa, montato da Federico Quistini.
Dopo “Numbers” e dopo un nuovo e interminabile tour italiano ed estero (culminato anche in un tour in
Russia e Ucraina), gli SKW nel 2013, sempre con il produttore Frank Andiver, entrano nuovamente in studio
per registrare il nuovo album “SIGNS” e Luca Bernardoni diventa il manager della band. La band firma per
BAGANA records e l’album “SIGNS” esce a maggio 2014, anticipato dal video/singolo “Amnesia”,
produzione Motel Vista di Ilaria Dalla Casa. Inizia il “Signs” tour. A dicembre 2014 esce il videoclip “Red
Sector A” cover dei Rush, video girato durante il party dei 25 anni della band. Il disco “Signs” esce per
l’Europa e per il mondo in ottobre 2015 su Sliptrick records.
Nel 2021, dopo anni di tour dal vivo, finiscono di registrare il nuovo materiale con Frank Andiver come
produttore. In ottobre 2022 la band esce con il singolo “Mindset” per l’etichetta Sorry Mom! A Febbraio
2023 esce per Be Next Music/Sony Music il singolo “Inside Out” con featuring Alteria alla voce e ad aprile il
singolo “Humans”. In Luglio 2023 gli SKW fanno uscire un altro singolo che è la cover dei Twins “Face to
face, heart to heart” in una versione sorprendente e potente nello stile della band. In novembre esce un
nuovo singolo potentissimo, ‘Infinite Game’, l’ultimo dell’anno 2023.
E sarà solo l’assaggio di quello che sarà il nuovo album in uscita a inizio 2024
