Nuovo combo da Torino, l’italica motorcity, nato per gioco e divenuto in breve tempo realtà consolidata. I 4 (batteria, chitarra, basso, voce e synth) si muovono su sonorità sporche che possono ricordare un certo stoner rock di derivazione east coast americana (Monster Magnet, Alabama Thunderpussy, The Atomic Bitchwax su tutti), pagando il giusto tributo ai mostri sacri Hawkwind e Black Sabbath.
Le molteplici influenze caratterizzano il sound della band, dal southern rock all’hardcore, dalla psichedelia liquida al blues, sprazzi di swing, di punk e tanto cuore.
Le melodie vocali si alternano al cantato screaming, la chitarra si muove con agilità tra le trame della sezione ritmica ed i suoni sintetici vanno a colorire il tutto.
In breve tempo la band ha avuto la possibilità di condividere palchi con gruppi italiani e stranieri quali OJM, Squadra Omega, The Leeches, Tons, Karma to Burn, Deville, Nashville Pussy, The Dictators NYC e molti altri.
I S.O.A.B. sono: Blackie al basso (già con gli Hollywood Killerz), Marco Betta alla batteria (Braindamage, C.O.V.), Tony R’n’R alle chitarre ed alle voci (Bad Dog Boogie, Sonic Breakers) e Marcello alla trachea ed ai synth (Contrite, Spareparts).
E’ evidente come, dalle precedenti ed attuali extra esperienze dei singoli, la produzione che scaturisce dall’unione dei 4 sia molto varia, difficile da inquadrare in un’unica definizione di genere musicale, se esistesse lo stonercore loro ne farebbero parte.
Soabology è il primo lavoro della band, in uscita su go down records ed escape from today records, 7 tracce di pura energia,

New combo from Torino, the Italic motorcity, born as a joke and quickly became well-established. The 4 (drums, guitar, bass, vocals and synth) move on dirty sound that may remind some stoner rock junction east coast American (Monster Magnet, Alabama Thunderpussy, The Atomic Bithcwax above all), paying a fitting tribute to the gods Hawkwind and Black Sabbath.
The multiple influences characterize the band’s sound, from southern rock to hardcore, from psychedelic liquid to blues, flashes of swing, punk and so much heart.
The vocal melodies alternate with screaming vocals, guitar moves nimbly between the plots of the rhythm section and the synthetic sounds go to color everything.
In a short time the band has had the opportunity to share stages with Italian and foreign groups such as OJM, Squadra Omega, The Leeches, Tons, Karma to Burn, Deville, Nashville Pussy, The Dictators NYC and many others.
S.O.A.B. are: Blackie on bass (formerly with Hollywood Killerz), Marco Betta on drums (Braindamage, C.O.V.), Tony R’n’R on guitars and voices (Bad Dog Boogie, Sonic Breakers) and Marcello the angry throat and on synth (Contrite, Spareparts).
It’s clear that, from past and current experiences of individual extras, the production that comes from the union of the members is varying, difficult to view on a single definition of genre, if it existed it would stonercore their part.
